STIHL’s most innovative occasional use chainsaw now includes "Comfort" features such as the ErgoStart (E) system, making the MS 250 C-BE the most versatile in its series. Like the MS 250, it has just the right amount of power and weight, and is now even easier to start. So you can stop wasting time trying to start your chainsaw, and spend more time getting things done. Available with 14"/35cm, 16"/40cm or 18"/45cm guide bars.

  1. STIHL ERGOSTART: Effortless starting system that saves energy by reducing the required speed on the starter cord, ensuring quick and reliable engine starts with a smooth and even pull.
  2. STIHL QUICK CHAIN TENSIONING: Allows for tool-free re-tensioning of the saw chain using the adjusting wheel. Turning the wheel left releases tension, while turning right tensions the chain. The guide bar is automatically secured when tightening the sprocket cover.
  3. CARBURETTOR PRE-HEATING: Ensures reliable operation in winter by pre-heating the carburettor with a simple adjustment from summer to winter mode. Pre-heated intake air prevents carburettor icing.
  4. Manual Fuel Pump (Purger): Improves starting with fewer pulls by filling the carburettor control chamber with fuel, ensuring an ignitable air-fuel mix.
  5. STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM: Reduces transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area, providing a more comfortable and less tiring working experience.
